BANS to CraigsList v1.0

Hey guys,

I saw a lot of interest in the BANS (BuildANicheStore) forum about posting eBay items from your BANS store onto Craigslist to drive traffic.

An excellent idea to whoever came up with it.

For detailed instructions on how to post your BANS store items on Craigslist here’s a nice little guide.

One thing people were having a hard time with though was finding which city on CraigsList to post the items on.

If you try and use Google Maps to find the closest city it takes quite a while, because once you do find the major cities around your location, you have to confirm whether or not they exist on CraigsList.

So here is this useful tool to your rescue…

Just type in the location of the eBay item and click “Find”

Voila! It will search Yahoo maps for distances between your entered location and closeby locations on CraigsList, and spit out the closest location. To go to that city on CraigsList all you have to do is hit “Go there”.

Now I haven’t put a price on it.. because it would make me much happier to see people actually using my tool, rather than making a few bucks…

Oh by the way, the system only searches within North America right now. I will be adding all of Europe very soon… I will email you the new version soon as it’s done for free…
